Welcome to the Crowe home. It's modest, but we do love it that way. The house is brand new, but I've always wanted an old home so there is much work to be done in order to give it the character that I'm craving. Hey, at least I'll eventually have old home charm with a wonderful new roof and water heater. At any given time, there are character building projects to be done around here.

First, there is the yard which is in bad need of landscaping. As you can see by this not so verdant patch in the middle of our driveway, I need plants that I cannot kill. The Aloe lives, and it is no part due to me. Currently, the best thing about our yard is the old Magnolia tree that will not bloom for many months to come.

Right now the hubby, Trey, is building a simple little wooden fence in the back yard to corral our two incorrigible "doggers", a Chi-weenie (Peanut) and a Boston Terrier puppy (Lulu). Once it's finished I will
rush to the paint store to choose a historical color from Benjamin Moore to paint the fence. I love color. I can't get enough of it. So much so that I want to paint the inside and the outside of the fence two different colors. Yet, I know I'd end up getting tired of the project long before nearing its completion. It may take another month, due to the weather, but I will post pictures of the fence once it's constructed and coated in glorious color.
