Box O' Baubles

Most people find it odd that I make jewelry, love jewelry, own a lot of it, and yet I don't have a proper jewelry box. For a long time, I have kept my baubles in cutlery trays in a drawer. The necklaces are thrown in a tangle on top of one another. Only recently did I add soft felt to the bottom of the trays. Please do not follow my terrible example, especially if you own an Yvette Designs original. Gemstones have a tendency to scratch when mixed with other stones.

Ta'da! So, here is a new addition to the drawer o' cutlery trays. The photo above shows the box lid. This is actually what the cookies from Taiwan came in. Very nice presentation, indeed. It was too nice to throw away, and I believe I found a worthy use for it. Now, I have a place for all the little things that can get easily lost in a sea of beads and chain.

Notice the earring cards centered at the top of the box. Those are Yvette Designs handmade earrings by moi. I couldn't resist a little show and tell by adding them to this little vignette. By the way, I want to thank all of you who have recently purchased Yvette Designs jewelry. Be checking your e-mail, as something will be coming your way shortly!
