Research Week

Finally! I have done it. My plans for Yvette Designs have begun to take form as I have made a decisive move to have my website made complete with a shopping cart and many pages for your shopping pleasure. I have spent hours on the net to find the types of web sites that I think are most effective. In this case, simplicity is key. Also, this development comes after I have ordered 250 full color, glossy business cards with my Etsy address on them. That's life.


Researching effective web sites was okay, but researching the latest fashion trends is way more fun! So far, I've come to the conclusion that black and white, stripes, and polka-dots will be a hit. Say hello to pearls and onyx, and I have to say yay polka-dots! Also, the Roman column style dress and bling encrusted necklines were very popular on the red carpet recently. This look eliminates the need for necklaces and puts the focus on earrings and bracelets. Bangles will be the must have accessory while anything goes with earring style.


Still, while not many people have discovered Yvette Designs at Pearson Jewelers, I'm very glad to say that my business is slowly and surely picking up. All it takes is a little shameless self promotion. Well see, I act like I didn't have anything to do with making the jewelry so as not to make the customer feel pressure to buy. Gee, maybe I should rethink this strategy. Hmm.
