Preparations

Okay, I know there's a lot going on in this photo, but I'm really trying to get some interesting shots of my jewelry. See, I am planning on getting some Moo Cards made. Most of my fellow crafters know what I'm talking about, but if you don't, check it out. These cards are neat-o! I'm aiming for smack ya' in the face style and pizazz. Not at all like the boring, run of the mill business card.

Tomorrow is my big day at the the store when I get to take an unused, and uninteresting display out of one case, and transplant Yvette Designs in its place. Here's to hoping that my jewelry is a big seller. I'm crossing my fingers, but really, Yvette Designs is the only jewelry in that store that is one of a kind. How often does one run across something like that in a fine jewelry store?

My biggest hangup now is, do I post the one of a kind items that are in the store on Etsy? What if one is sold in the store, and that day someone buys the same item on line? Does anyone have any suggestions? What do other artisans of one of a kind products do?

Since I began about a year ago, I've come a long way with my design style, materials, and photos. I know there is always room for improvement, so if you have any comments or suggestions, I'd love to hear them. It's real simple, just scroll to the end of the page, and click on the word "comments".
